At
an early age, Edith Ann showed an unusual interest in motorcycles.
(See "The Movie") We
showed her how to ride on a motorcycle by starting on a quad runner.
Now she travels quite long distances on the tank of the bike.
She travels
with a safety harness, and when cold wears a sweater or jacket.
It became
necessary to fit her with goggles when the wind seemed to bother her
eyes, making them tear up.
It is
quite fun to travel with her, people will approach to talk about her.
We meet more people with her being an ice breaker for conversation.
She is probably in more photo albums, because a day on the motorcycle
does not go by that she does not get her picture taken.
After
a long motorcycle ride, we stop for drinks at a biker bar where she
is always welcome. She adds new meaning to the phrase, "Biker Babe".
In the bottom photograph, Edith Ann is a bit tired and rests at a bar
in Virginia City, Nevada.
