a Superior in Halter with 86 lifetime Halter points. He has
earned Superior Performance awards in both Western Pleasure
and Hunter Under Saddle with an impressive lifetime accumulation
of 482 points.
Skip is a World Champion sire with multiple World, Reserve
World, APHA and Versatility Champions.
At the 2001 APHA World Championship show, he produced a
World Champion Jr. Hunter Hack horse, a World Champion Youth
Walk-Trot Hunt Seat Equitation horse and a World Champion
Youth Walk-Trot Western Horsemanship horse. He also produced
a Reserve World Champion Jr. Working Hunter horse and a Reserve
World Champion Amateur Hunt Seat Equitation horse.
Skip has approximately 226 registered foals with 91 having
show records. His get have earned approximately 224 ROM's,
76 Superior awards, 3 APHA Champions, 4 Versatility Champions
and 1 Congress Champion. They have earned a total of 12,330+
points as of January 2005. These points have been earned
in Open, Youth, Novice, Amateur and Breedstock divisions
in all disciplines.
At the end of 2000, Skipa Heathen was the only sire to be
on all the APHA Leading Sires Lists for Halter and Performance
in the Top 13.
